As a Program Facilitator, you will play a vital role in providing appropriate play and support to families / carers of children with disabilities and developmental delays.Your key responsibilities will include:Program and facilitate weekly PlayConnect+ PlaygroupsPromote Playgroups to encourage participation by families with children who have disabilities or developmental concerns.Ensure a trauma-informed, safe, and high quality playgroup experience, supporting families and children to build school readiness, social interaction, emotional regulation, and self-regulation skills.Follow-up with families to encourage continued participation.Provide families with information on early intervention services and family support resources within their community.Liaise with early intervention service providers to support child and family participation.Collect registration, attendance, and outcome data, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.This is a part time (18 hours per week), fixed term employment opportunity until 30 June 2025, with conditions and salary at around Level 4.1 of the SCHADS Award dependent on qualifications, skills, and experience.About you…To be successful in this role, you’ll need to hold a relevant Human Services qualification such as Early Childhood, Family Support, Social Work, or similar.You’ll have demonstrated knowledge and experience of working with children with disability or developmental challenges, ideally within a community setting.
