We believe in the power of play to connect families and communities, fostering development and inclusivity for all.We’re seeking a passionate Intergenerational Playgroup Development Facilitator to join our team, helping to continue and build on our existing Intergenerational Playgroup Program (IGPG). This program bridges generations by connecting children aged 0-5, their caregivers, and older friends in residential aged care and community settings.How You’ll Make an ImpactAre you ready to bring generations together through play?As the Intergenerational Playgroup Development Facilitator, you will:• Work closely with aged-care facilities and community playgroups to establish and continue new and existing intergenerational play sessions.• Build strong relationships with families, caregivers, and older friends, ensuring activities are inclusive and engaging.• Provide training and support to community playgroup facilitators to help them adopt intergenerational models.• Monitor, evaluate, report on and adapt the program based on feedback and outcomes.• Collaborate with key stakeholders to promote the program and ensure its success.About YouTo thrive in this role, you’ll be:• Compassionate, proactive, and confident in connecting with people of all ages.• Passionate about community building and fostering relationships across generations.• Knowledgeable about early childhood development and aged-care settings.You’ll have:• Experience coordinating activities and programs, particularly with families or in community settings, ideally supplemented by formal qualifications in Community Services or similar.• A sound understanding of statutory requirements for both aged care and early childhood services.• Strong time management, planning, report-writing and organisational skills.• Proficiency with MS Office programs and general computer literacy.• Current Working With Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid Certificate, and Safe Environments for Children and Young People Training (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).• A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.What We OfferThis is a fixed-term, full-time position until 30 June 2026, with salary and conditions aligned with the SCHADS Award, based on qualifications and experience.
