This is an exciting opportunity to take your IT skills to the next level, working both independently and collaboratively with our external support partner. A key part of the role is working across the business, providing support in person, by email and by phone to identify, troubleshoot and solve a range of technical hardware and software issues.  You’ll ensure team members are well informed about the status of issues and will follow up outstanding issues where necessary.  Other activities will include:Contributing to and as required leading relevant ICT projects, such as researching and recommending a new telephony solution, tendering for an IT service provider and supporting office fit-outWorking with our ICT support partner to ensure system and data security is maintained at a high standard, and monitoring the performance of systems, ensuring issues are appropriately escalated and resolvedSupporting the roll-out of new applications and solutionsManaging the ongoing relationship with our external ICT support partner Maintaining the asset register, software library and software maintenance registers.Preparing the annual ICT budget, in conjunction with the Corporate Services Manager and ICT partners and suppliers.About youTo be successful in this role, you’ll need solid experience in a similar role, supported by at least a Cert IV in Information Technology.  You’re an energetic, self-motivated person who thrives on problem-solving and using logic and critical thinking to solve problems. You have a strong interest in technology and are keen to understand both why and how things work.
